We regularly receive complaints from members regarding the requirement to wear long sleeves and long pants on a majority of construction sites in South Australia.
We have a strong belief that wearing additional Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as long sleeves and long pants, in hot weather or hot environments increases the risk of developing heat-related illnesses.
We are conducting a survey to gather initial information about long sleeves, long pants policies on South Australian construction sites, and your opinions in relation to these policies.
The survey should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete.
Your responses will be kept confidential, no information collected during the survey will be used to identify you.
